The unit slides onto the panel edge
Factory-finished with sash and glazing, the unit slides sideways onto the waist-high lower panel. The U-channel lips grip both faces of the panel.

Side and top panels close afterwards
Neighbouring panels seat into the frame’s U-channels — the bay completes like a puzzle, with no cutting and no blind frame.

The building ships with its joinery
Doors, windows and sliding units install on the same principle; the container leaves the line turnkey, joinery already fitted.

The KOM 500 U-frame’s geometry is the installation method: the deep U-channel receives the sandwich panel while the profile body carries the insulation.

The frame edge forms a deep pocket that receives the sandwich-panel edge; the lips overlap both faces of the panel.

The three-chamber PVC body delivers thermal insulation; the design accepts galvanised reinforcement for wind load.

Two-stage sealing between sash and frame: Class 4 air permeability, 8A water tightness.

The glazing bead grips 4, 20 and 24 mm units — the same frame takes you from single glass to insulated double glazing.
